Rooms overlooking the river are great. Rooms with road view are slightly noisier but not so much to disturb sleep. Staff can not to enough for you. Friendly and accommodating. Beautiful sitting out when weather permits. Have stayed on many occasions and will definitely be going back.

Stayed here for one night before a meeting at the country club down the road. It's worth noting that the road outside gets really busy (with associated noise levels) during the rush hour. The room was well equipped - all the essentials, but bland to the point of being spartan. A generous supply of tea, coffee, biscuits and water was... More

Wow, what an excellent find this hotel was. On a business trip to the area I arrived late on the Friday and departed early on the Sunday and from start to finish the whole experience was amazing. The welcome at reception with everything in order ready for me, the room which was clean, well equipped with a very comfortable bed... More

Great hotel. Lovely, comfortable room, happy, friendly staff and wonderful food. Breakfast was high quality, even served black pudding. Lovely setting by the river. Would go back anytime I could, totally recommend

A fairly new modern style hotel with clean, tidy bedrooms although they are a little stark. Nice convenient situation with secure car park and good road access but traffic can be heavy at times. from the website I expected good dining and a good menu but it was a disappointment. The lunchtime carvery was very cheap £5.99 however it was... More

Spent a night here whilst visiting family. Had a nice room overlooking the river, with all the facilities. However, the mattress on the bed was too soft and I also spent the night rolling into the middle. Had a meal here in the restaurant, which was very good, although the service was a bit hit and miss. There is a... More

Came here for a party in October. Room was clean and overlooked a stream. Reasonably priced, great staff. Breakfast was an extra tenner each but not bad when you consider the price of the room. Had some great entertainment the following morning as some men who were night fishing opposite the stream had an argument. Although it wasn't the alarm... More

We came here for lunch with friends who lived nearby. To be honest from the outside, I wasn't too impressed, however on entering my impression of the place completely changed. The interior was almost Spanish-looking with pretty arches in the large airy and light restaurant. The staff greeted us pleasantly and showed us to a table which overlooked the very... More

Very convenient hotel for those visiting the Poole/Bournemouth area. Rooms are clean and tidy, and we had a lovely view. Restaurant is a carvery, with all that implies interms of quantity, traditionalism and value, and there is a convenient bar, with a deck overlooking the river.
