We stayed here during a recent snowmobile trip. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Some of the beds needed to be upgraded but on a whole a nice place to stay after a long day of sledding. Large rooms with small refrigerator and microwave. Walking distance to eateries, markets and hardware store.

We were pleasantly surprised. Since this little town is over 50 miles away from the closest other town, and there are only a few choices of where to stay, the owners could just completely let the place go and take on the attitude that "it is what it is". But that's not the case at all. The rooms were much...

I stayed 3 days and nights at the motel, east building, and was able to work all day in the room. Solid wi-fi, air conditioning, clean and quiet. Staff was nice and helpful. I was told the west building allowed pets but didn't have air conditioning. I stayed one night in a tent at the RV park. Did my laundry...

Very pleasant surprise; Passed my stocking feet test (willingness to walk on carpet in socks) I stay in different Motel/Hotels over 150 night per year and Halfway would rate in top. No thrills but extremely clean and comfortable. I stayed in newer annex and the rooms are comparable to a Quality Inn. Great coffee provided and owner was very pleasant,...

We stayed here 2 nights. The campground is out of town across from the Fairgrounds. Very nice private restroom with shower. Electric, Sewer, and Water. Had to pay for Wifi and there was no cable!!! Even tho they claim to have both!! The grounds and the restrooms were very clean. There was even a heater in the restrooms. We would...

This was one of the nicest places I stayed on this trip. People were friendly, office & porch area rather funky but room was well appointed with fridge, microwave, large counter area, coffeepot, hairdryer, good linens. It was either new or recently renovated. The lighting was good and there were plenty of conveniently located outlets for chargers, laptop etc. Everything...

A nice place to stay if going to Hells canyon or Wallowa Mts. Room was clean and appointed well. No real competition but really none is needed, this is a good value. The owner was helpful even though I pulled in late.

Six of us were on a motorcycle trip and made advance reservations here. The owners were very pleasant with two of the cutest little dogs you'll ever meet, the room was comfortable and good-sized. Walking distance to a couple of restaurants (although I think everything in Halfway is walking distance). The only complaint I would have is that the parking...

We are bicycling cross country through small town USA. Out accommodations have ranged from the excellent to the not so much. This motel is a great place to stay. The positives: clean room, comfortable bed, good a/c, great wifi, good water pressure in shower, walking distance to town and restaurants, and grocery store. Really no negatives. Does mot include breakfast.
