We booked this hotel for two nights and based on the pictures of the rooms on their website we booked a Superior Suite. Unfortunately, the photographs were very misleading, it was nowhere near as nice, the carpets had marks all over and in need of a good clean. The heating in our room wasn’t working until the day of our departure and whilst we were given a heater, no apology or update was given to us during our stay. On a more positive note, the staff were very friendly and efficient, at both breakfast and dinner and the food was very good.

Had a fabulous weeks break here. Hotel was lovely, all covid measures were adhered to, staff welcoming, rooms was very comfortable, but could be a little noisy early morning as it faced the main road. Breakfast plentiful and lots of choice, great coffee and always willing to bring more if requested. . Had a few evening meals too which were all beautifully cooked. I would definitely recommend the rib eye steak. All staff were friendly and polite. Would stay again if we are ever in the area.

We stayed at the Warkworth House Hotel for two nights. It was a lovely break. We had a twin room which was very nice. However it was a little noisy as we were on the front on the main road. Our breakfast was very tasty and there was a good choice. We had two dinners in the restaurant and the food was well presented and delicious. We felt very safe during the Covid 19 regulations. The staff were very pleasant and efficient. We will definitely go back.

This is by far and away the best hotel I've stayed in this millennium. We are at an early stage of a relationship and everyone treated us with courtesy and friendliness. Our little dog was smothered with love and treats. We felt like minor royalty!

Spontaneously booked the hotel when our original plans fell through. The hotel staff were marvellous, very warm & welcoming and so good with our dog. Love the country hotel feel, a spot of luxury & a treat. Breakfasts were excellent and can recommend a dinner at the restaurant too. Lounge is great for a nightcap. Looking forward to returning.
