We walked down from our accommodation elsewhere in Warkworth for an evening meal late in December. We had booked a table and were shown straight in. The menu was fairly limited, possibly due to the time of year, but we both found dishes we liked (even though my wife is a vegetarian) and they were served quickly. The food was...

On arrival we were greeted very well and despite not being able to offer any meal, it being a Monday and we were warned prior to our arrival on this, the front of house lady gave us fruit from the dining room to take to our room. At first glance and because we had come a long way the room...

Completely new area and hotel and neither disappointed. Hotel was lovely and clean and had an old charm about it. We had booked a superior double which was very nicely decorated and furnished. Bedroom and separate lounge area with adequate storage. The only extra i would have added was a small lamp within the lounge as we only had the...

Our party of seven including two children had Sunday lunch here. The dining room is tastefully decorated, which added to the experience, and the food was excellent; well cooked and well presented, and our grandchildren loved the sweets. It's a great place for a special Sunday lunch.

This is a beautiful georgian hotel. The room we had was at the back of the hotel was tastefully decorated but had a few small stains on the carpet. We were glad we were at the back of the hotel as the road running past the front was very busy. We booked this hotel due to it being dog friendly,...

We were staying elsewhere in Warkworth and wished we had instead known about this lovely hotel. We walked into a lovely calm atmosphere, were welcomed into a comfortable lounge and enjoyed a coffee. We were so impressed that we booked for Sunday lunch that day. The dining room is lovely and the service and food were beyond excellent. We left...

Beautiful hotel, very friendly and welcoming staff, restaurant and bar serve really good food at reasonable price. Breakfast brilliant. You can eat having your dogs with you in the Bar (very nice Bar...

The hotel is dog-friendly and much as we love dogs (we have 2 hypoallergenic ones as I am allergic) we specified we wanted a dog-free room, which the hotel were happy to ensure. Our room was very comfortable, with good standard toiletries which were replenished daily. Provisions within the room e.g. Biscuits & bottled water were also better what we've...
