Ideal place to stay if you are looking to relax and take your time. The house is beautiful and the hosts Isabel and Pedro are lovely and the set up is well thought to make sure you feel at home. Also the surroundings have a lot to offer, biking, hiking, wine tasting... Would not doubt in visiting again - thank you

We stayed at Can Bassa about a year ago. I am reviewing it now because it is one of the few places which are so special that I am now still day dreaming of the trip. The property is beautiful. It is so relaxing and quaint. The location is excellent to explore Girona, and it is wonderful to spend time at in the mornings and evenings. While the town is small, it is very authentic and fits the hotel well. There is an EXCELLENT restaurant about 10 minutes' drive away, seemingly in the middle of nowhere.

Had a fantastic short break. Pedro and family are so helpful and easy going. Great place to chill and relax. Quality of decor and sorroundings are first class. Setting is so picturesque and tranquil. Beautiful medieval village with two great places to eat less than 200m. Thoroughly recommend. Thank you

Beautiful hotel. We had a spare night between staying at our villa on the coast and leaving from Girona airport so we visited Gala Dali's castel at Pubol and spent the night at Can Bassa. It was an absolute delight. We had a two room apartment, a swim in the pool, a bottle of wine in our garden and the most delicious breakfast before departing on Sunday morning. Real treat.
