A characterful hotel which is spotlessly clean. The only downside is the lack of facilities to make hot drinks. Eva and Fina are passionate about customer service and were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. We used taxis as the buses are not brilliant and the roads challenging to drive on. The hotel organised the taxis and also provided picnics...

We just loved this hotel. Nothing grand but it suited us perfectly. We had five nights in a room on the third floor with views across to Bentayga and Nublo rocks. Good breakfast, comfy room and a lovely friendly welcome from the ever-busy Eva. Also a great terrace for when (not guaranteed in the mountains) the sun comes out. Tejeda...

The hotel rooms are fine - beds comfy , clean and nicely decorated in a simple style . The location is peaceful and views from the upper floors are good . Our only issue was that the rooms and lounge are not warm- there is no heating evident and the fire in the lounge was not lit despite the temperature...

We've visited Gran Canaria for many years; mainly to the tourist areas of Meloneras and Mogan. This time we spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in this hotel in Tejeda. The hotel is quaint, the rooms traditional and very nice. We stayed in the rooms on the same level as the sun terrace with a stunning view and when we...

We stayed for three nights and wished we had not dwelt in Las Palmas beforehand. The centre of the island is so much more stimulating and Tejeda is the best village to aim for as it is situated on the sunny side of the central caldera - a natural sun trap. Hotel Fonda de la Tea is arguably in the...

We stayed here for three nights earlier this month, not in the main hotel but in the duplex which is located a 10 minute STEEP walk from the hotel. The duplex was large and well-equipped with a balcony, two bedrooms and an adequate kitchen, everything was in excellent order. We had breakfast in the hotel one morning, which was fine...

Small lovely hotel in an amazing scenery. What really made the difference were the people: Fina, the owner and her brother, as well as Eva, made everything they could to make our stay there memorable, and went out of their way to help us organize the rest of our trip in the Canaria islands. Breakfast was good and a very...

Nice hotel, the owner is very business orientated ! If she recommend a nearby restaurant it will be by interest. Other than that it is a very nice hotel with the spectacular views over the Gran Canaria Biosphere Reserve while soaking up the sun on the rooftop terrace.

This hotel's ideally situated in this beautiful village of Tejeda facing west over the vast caldera towards the coast way below; and on a clear day with views of Mt Teide (Tenerife) on the horizon. The casa's been renovated extensively to modern high quality functional as much as characterful standards, and whilst our room was compact it was adequate for...
