Bad points. My son's was unable to turn down heating in his bathroom (in the middle of recent heatwave, with no response from management)...

Since the new manager has taken over it has been a completely different place. I occasionally visit the Blue Anchor and it's a lovely friendly place. Great roast dinner!!! All the locals are lovely and the bar staff go out of their way to accommodate you.

This is very much a locals kind of pub. It has a good friendly atmosphere with plenty of room. There is a pool table and TVs that have sports on. The outdoor space is fairly small but enough to act as a smoking area. The normal lagers, ales, wines and other drinks are sold here. There are rooms to rent...

As a single female staying away with business quite often, I wouldn't normally comment, but due to the bad experience at the Blue Anchor, I thought it may help other lone female travellers. The check in is via the bar and I was shown to my room, however that was it, I had to ask about evening meals as nothing...

I read the previous reviews after booking here for 5 nights whilst attending a course in the area. Ok, if you are spending £55 in a place a short ride in to London, you surely cannot expect the Ritz! It was a working mans pub but they were a good bunch and very friendly towards me. The breakfast was not...

If you're thinking of staying at this place don't bother unless you literally want to keep the rain off you for the night. Where to begin with this place. Firstly, even the location in numerous listings is misleading. It is located in Byfleet, not West Byfleet. Secondly, if you want to know anything about what you need to do about...

Nice hotel in a lovely little village. Basic and in need of a little redecoration in the rooms but on the whole worth a visit. Very reasonablely priced and friendly staff Good service. Our room was above the restaurant but you could not hear any noise from those dining below us or those in the public bar next door.

Well if you drive a white van then this could be your idea of heaven! A very shoddy room. No working TV, Noisy pipework. Worn out decor. Dubious bedding. Poor excuse for a breakfast. Tainted cups. £55 cost. £50 too much. Never again. Tops my list of poor quality accomodation ever experienced by me.

Four of us stayed here last week. I shared a small double room with my son. The heating was stuck on all night and couldn't be turned off due to a broken control, the TV didn't work, and in the morning the shower was cold which wasn't too bad due to the all-night heating in very warm weather. The shower...
