It feels great to visit my home country and relax. This place is great for any type of getaway. It sits on several hundred acres and you have your choice of bungalow type rooms or villas that can house an entire entire family. The staff are very welcoming and accommodate to your every need.
Gym, multiple pools (there a pools bar that you can swim to), tennis court, basketball court...what more can you ask for?
Wayne and the Richards (there are two of them) the bellmen, never skip a beat when they see you coming their way or request for them to assist with an errand.
Terry was one of the hostesses at breakfast and also a waitress at the pool. She always has a bright smile on her face and gives you a warm welcome.
Be sure stop by the cascading pool to soak up some sun. Delecia is usually there for lunch and recommends the best drinks. Tenisha is another waitress at the pool who makes great lunch recommendations.
Donhu, Derwayne, and Jalean.... the bartenders and servers in the main area ALWAYS remember what you order for drinks, whether they’re alcoholic or non alcoholic
Don’t pass up an opportunity to get a massage in paradise. Helga was my masseuse, she provided a great massage.
The chef at the restaurant, Claudio, is always up for a challenge. Ask him for the chefs choice and have him make you whatever he so pleases from the menu. Trust me, you can’t go wrong.
Alessandro, the sommelier, he definitely knows his stuff when it comes to wine.
Everyone takes the appropriate COVID precautions. Staff are very good about wearing masks, they also clean the seating areas and common areas frequently. Hand sanitizer is accessible pretty much everywhere on property.

A huge thank you to Carol and Nadia for all the hard work getting us setup and creating such a magical event for my daughter’s 6th birthday. The service from Levonne and Joy at breakfast and Tiesha Donaldson at the pool was magnificent as usual and a big shout out to Tashae for taking care of the kids during the three days they went to the kids club. I’m still hearing about the Volcano. A stay at Halfmoon wound not be complete without spa treatments and Carl and Sanjay never disappoint. Finally, I want to thank Chef Claudio, Cordell and Alessandro for making my 50th birthday dinner truly memorable.
We can’t wait to come back next year!

Half Moon is, for our family, the perfect vacation spot. We have just finished a one week vacation in a Half Moon Villa, taken care of by the Villa staff: the best Butler (Ferdinand Sims); best maid (Pamela Grey), and our new but superb cook (Beverly). Ferdie and Pam have shared our vacations with us for 9 of the 11 years here. The warm vibes from our villa staff are echoed by the rest of the hotel staff, who are anxious to help make your Half Moon vacation one of many to come.
During our usual two week Christmas Vacation there are 11...including 5 grandchildren (the oldest is 18), two set of their parents and two grandparents. The children have grown up here playing tennis, riding bikes and enjoying water sports (and as they grew older, playing golf on the 18 hole Half Moon course).
We had no concerns about Covid management. Hotel employees are scrupulous about masking. Temperature is taken in the indoor dining areas. Hand sanitizer is available everywhere, chairs and other equipment are cleaned after each guest's use and towels are kept separate before every use.
Over the last two years the Hotel part of Half Moon was renovated to be a truly deluxe facility, with a fabulous infinity pool, new beaches, expanded restaurant facilities (most open air) with wonderful food. We could not have imagined a better vacation experience the last time that we were here. But, truth be told, Half Moon has become an exclusive luxury hotel.

Our family of 7 people stayed at Rose Hall Villas in a 5BR villa with Ocean View. Loved it!! With our own pool plus jumping into the ocean whenever we wanted was paradise!! Our cook Carris, our Butler O’Neil and our Housekeeper Clara were amazing. We didn’t have to go to any other restaurants and partied all we wanted in our own home away from home. Biking and Tennis were our other activities (water sports was available but minimal choices). Very relaxing despite Covid!!

Oh My Moments. We started having such experiences even before we arrived. Their travel concierge was amazingly helpful and reassuring as this was our first international travel since the Pandemic hit.
The Oh My experiences abounded during the 7-day stay. The staff are among the friendliest and most well trained we’ve experienced. Amazing facility, spacious rooms, wonderful food, gorgeous pools and beach, and THE VIEWS!
Only 15 minutes from the airport, we left NY at 8 and we’re on the beach by noon. How can you beat that?

There is a beach volley ball at our Sunrise beach, but not used as an organized group activity. We offer aqua yoga. No pool volleyball or water polo. Other watersports offered, snorkelling, sailing, windsurfing, waterskiing, kayaks, etc. Visit our website for further details.

The entire East Cove will be operational by March 2019 . This includes all rooms and suites, the new entrance, lobby and concierge, pool and pool bar, beach and beach grill and our two new restaurants – a three-meal restaurant and seafood restaurant.

There are 3 main restaurants on the property. Room service was fast and very good. There are two main pools, including a lap pool which I used every day. The staff was very accommodating in finding chairs and umbrellas (especially if you tip well) and I was there Easter week which is quite busy. Ocean has a section blocked off that is swimable, but a lot of the beach/ocean is rocky and seaweed. Dolphins and horses are additional cost. This is an upscale resort abundant in history and charm. It is a different atmosphere from the newer, mega hotels. It's not for everyone, but I love it.
