Unparalleled boutique luxury villa in the Chianti countryside. This small villa, with formal and informal gardens and swimming pool, is enveloped by beautiful vine laden hills. The villa provides delicious food and wonderful wines, especially Tentuta di Monte-Ficali Chianti Classico Reserva from their own vineyard. The staff and owners are charming and warm. Equally charming, and highly recommended, is the Limonaia garden cottage offering private seclusion with it’s logia overlooking a hidden garden... truly a Tuscan “room with a view”!

My girlfriend and I have just returned after a fabulous trip to Villa Bordoni, where we stayed for 2 nights. The location was absolutely perfect with the beautiful village of Montefioralle within walking distance and Florence, Siena and Pisa all around 1 hour away by car. Catherine the owner was always on hand and incredibly helpful with recommendations and local knowledge and Hugo in the restaurant / bar couldn’t have been more pleasant. The hotel itself was picture perfect with an amazing pool and has views across the Tuscan valleys and vineyards. They have a great breakfast on offer and have adapted well to Covid-19 rules- all staff wear masks and our room was immaculate.
We’d highly recommend staying here to all!

We had a brilliant three days at Villa Bordoni and particularly enjoyed our time sitting in the cabanas by their beautiful pool, with amazing views of the hills beyond. The hotel itself is lovely and very comfortable. Staff and the owners were incredibly welcoming and charming - particularly Ugo who was always very friendly and helpful. Breakfast on the terrace was very good, and we had a tasty meal at the restaurant one night too.

The villa had lots of Covid-19 precautions in place to make guests feel safe at all times, yet at the same time not overly imposed upon. It’s a bit of a bumpy drive up from Greve in Chianti up a single lane gravel track, but we never had too much trouble and ventured out and about lots. Would definitely return!

Pros:
Very unique and beautiful spot worth every penny. Staff is very nice. We where allowed to bring a whole bottle of local white wine to the pool (which was not over crowdy). Pool area is very beautiful.
Bed was nice.
Bathroom and shower was an experience in itself.
Very authentic architecture and classic stylish inside furniture and décor.
Nice breakfast.
AC working well.

Cons:
Fridge in the room was not working. No elevator.

I stayed for 3 nights with my wife in August.

Everything at the Villa was perfect: the food, the rooms, the breakfast by the porch, the pool, etc.

Furthermore, the Villa is also perfectly located in case you want to explore the Chianti region, or visit Firenze (or Siena).

Highly recommended!
