The Timberline Lodge is absolutely beautiful! Having Mt. Hood right before your eyes is truly amazing! The whole ambiance is incredible. The rooms in the lodge are not that spectacular. They are so small with very little space. They only provide the tiniest tv. The bathroom is small. No fridge. For what you pay, it definitely is overpriced! The pool, hot tub and sauna are all closed due to Covid. It still was fun but definitely not worth five stars!

We enjoyed our stay at the Government Camp condo. We were traveling with our four children and chose this condo over a traditional room at Timberline Lodge so our family would have room to spread out, play, and run around. It is just as described. It was clean upon arrival. It was quiet and we could not hear neighbors. We enjoyed having extra space. We enjoyed the neat features of a heated floor in the bathroom and fireplace in the living room. We came for hiking and there are several trails very close by for hiking. You can also walk to a few restaurants and a general store (which is below the condo). We were able to use all the amenities at the Timberline Lodge. As of 6/30/20, the pool at the Lodge was not open yet which we were disappointed to find out. Everything else was good. I recommend this condo.

This is a Fabulous place to stay if visiting Mount Hood and it has its own ski area. Sadly for us we arrived just as the corona virus was starting to take hold and all the slopes on Mount Hood were shut down the very day we arrived so we will have to come back at some point to have the activity that we originally went for. Having said that we got a day at ski bowl and ended up doing some trails and walks and the scenery all round was fantastic.
We were in the Roosevelt room (115) and this is a huge fantastic room with so much space and living area and we were glad as we spent more time in there than we had anticipated when first booking.
The Hotel and architecture is full of history and it is stunning and i'm not surprised it has so many visitors even if you are not staying there, the food is great even though again it was slightly cut back because of the corona virus so there was no Buffett breakfast / lunch or dinner but what was on the menu could not be faulted, and the staff were all fantastic
Just a mention to the pool and hot tub which were again great (even though pool was shut down half way through our stay again because of the corona virus).
We will definitely be back here at some point in the future to try out the Mountain as well as stay in a great Hotel again

Very historic and comfy mountain setting. Great restaurant and bar.....the pool is great summer or winter and the huge fireplaces and St Bernard top off a perfect stay! The skiing is also very good with many open snow fields and tree runs......Silcox hut is also a very historic and fun place to stay.

This lodge is fun year-round. It's a great ski resort, but it has lots of hiking trails (including the Pacific Crest Trail) to enjoy during warmer months. We stayed in a really well designed room with a huge king bed, two twins, and a comfortable couch that could be an extra bed if needed. We used the pool and hot tub (outdoor and heated year-round), the bar, the dining room, and the ski runs. It was a fabulous experience.
