The pool, sauna area is so relaxing. If you ever run into Gloria she will make your stay feel like you have a personal concierge. She is so personable, engaging and first class. My 9 year old son just adored her. We also enjoyed the horseback riding, exploring nature and hiking. Great weekend trip!
The staff is Super Friendly from the moment you arrive! Ask for anything and you shall receive!
If you are soap conscious, definitely bring your own soap because theirs is a step above the Hilton but still not as good as the soap you use at home.
The food in the dining hall is DELICIOUS! Everything is fresh and juicy. For those expecting well seasoned meat, it will be a little bland. I personally enjoyed it. My wife said it needed more seasoning (damn Hispanic) so am i lol.
The stables were pretty cool. It was a nice trail walking with the horses. Its really affordable. Only thing i didnt like was that we didnt get to trot or pick up speed on the horses because the trail is full of turns and branches and hills. However, still a great experience!
The included amentities are amazing! Indoor and outdoor pools with jacuzzis! Theres table tennis. Sauna and steam showers in the bathrooms near the pool. Workout room is immaculate! There is a game room with few arcade games and air hockey which is really kid friendly.
My favorite area is the HUGE fireplace in the middle of the lobby surrounded by lounge sofas with the bar right next to it. Very calm and relaxing!
Great accommodations and service. My wife and I were celebrating her 70th birthday. We ate great food all weekend, played golf on a terrific course, shot some pool, had a few very nice martinis, and rode Ebay and Walt on a very quiet and gentle horseback riding trail.
This hotel is beautiful, clean, cozy and staffed with great people. The restaurant was amazing and the view from the deck is beautiful. Our room also had a balcony and the view was the same. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were great after a hike. The large fireplaces make the lobby and restaurant warm and hospitable. It is close to hiking and wineries. We will definitely return.
My wife and I along with my daughter, my son in law, and our six year old Granddaughter recently spent a weekend at the lodge. While at the resort our activities included swimming (indoor/outdoor pool), the exercise room, the hot tub, golf, hiking, and numerous trips to the game room. Our Granddaughter's favorite activities were fishing in their small pond and riding a horse at the stables. We enjoyed our meals at the Brasstown restaurant as well as Brassies. All the employees were very friendly and accommodating. Everyone was wearing a face mask and observing social distancing guidelines. We had a great time at this family friendly resort and will definitely return.
