Enjoyed a 5 day getaway with my 26+ year wife. We had a great time at the Hotel, the king suite with the fireplace and patio, was a great selection. The food, staff, amenities were fantastic. Tennis, pool, restaurant, gym.
Our family of 4 visited Sedona for the first time in late March 2021 and stayed at the Hilton Sedona at Bell Rock. Overall, the property is very nice, with 2 pools, exercise center, spa, and terrific views of Bell Rock. We had a one bedroom suite which worked out well for us. While not super spacious we appreciated having a couch and table & chairs.
One thing we wish we would have known is that this resort is not actually in Sedona - it’s in Oak Creek. The drive into Sedona is about 7 miles and while you think it would be a fairly quick trip, it took us on average 30 minutes one way to get into town. The road is two lanes with a ton of roundabouts and traffic backs up very easily.
^That said, we did like the location. There’s decent restaurants and hiking nearby so we were happy with the spot, but at times wished we were closer to town.
We found the service and cleanliness of the room to be meh overall. There’s a Starbucks grab and go on the first floor that each morning we visited was out of mostly everything, and they were also severely understaffed so the wait time was pretty ridiculous.
Our room was not cleaned well - it did not look like they wiped down anything or vacuumed. The shower did not drain well so we needed to call maintenance. They responded pretty quickly.
Overall we did not stay on the resort all day so this was a fine place to sleep with great views. If you want to be close to town, definitely look for another option.
Stayed in Sedona at the Hilton Resort at bell rock with my family of five. Horrible experience!
Pro- it is a great location. Close to most everything and the oversized queen suite was very spacious.
Con- No one wants to do their job or help you. Got here and couldn’t even use the pool. It was all ready full. Only allowing 50 people at a time, but hotel is filled to capacity. Makes no sense. No towels at the pool either. They were all out. Lounge chairs at the lap pool are torn and stained. We were not allowed to sit outside with our own beverages and enjoy the views. Told we had to buy from them. No room cleaning offered. Laundry service was a plus but considering they only have one for the entire resort, it was always in use. One washer was out of service.
We were really excited to travel and stay here, but sadly disappointed with the price, the service and amenities you get. We will not waste our money staying here again. This is definitely not a “resort”.
We stayed here 3 nights during spring break. Left so much to be desired. The staff were rude and very unaccommodating. We attempted to check in at 2:00 with a 3:00 pm check in time. We knew we would have to wait, but at 4:30 our room was still in the final stages of being cleaned. This was after probably 10 families got rooms. Carpet in the hallway areas is dirty. Servers at restaurant were annoyed with us sitting outside by a fire. The pull out bed in our room was terribly uncomfortable. The lap pool chairs are ripped and disgusting. Stay someplace else. This is not a resort.
Hilton is very pretty and the outside pool area is awesome! Would've been great to sit and relax in hot tub after long day of hiking, but the weather did not cooperate!
CONS: SPA ! I thought since the other amenities looked great, the spa would be just as nice and I was wrong. 50 minute message cost $200 - I had to undress in the ladies locker room and then walk down into the spa. Asked for water and was given a generic bottled water- for those prices where is the lemon infused water? Again for the price, thought it would've been a better spa experience. Next time I will book a message off the hotel premise for less money and better experience.
