Before visiting I was concerned about some of the negative reviews on here but we had a great time.

Traveled with my wife and two kids. Booked a junior suite.
Concierge had reached out to me directly (not sure if this is a Marriot Bonvoy credit card perk) around a week before we arrived and I requested two cribs for our room. We also made some dinner reservations ahead of time.

Check in was smooth - I have the app and was notified that we could check in a few hours earlier than expected, awesome when travelling with kids.
Only 1 crib was in the room but we called and another crib was sent up within 10 minutes which I thought was awesome considering the size of the hotel.

My wife then realized we were the only junior suite to not have a balcony. We'd booked this because it allows us to sit on the balcony and relax/read/drink as our 2 year old and 3 month old sleep in the room.
Hotel were really accommodating, Laura at reception showed us the only available room they had left which had a nice patio and fire pit. My wife loved it so we switched.

Pool area was great, we reserved seats for the first day but didn't have to any other day, although it is difficult to guarantee shade for the kids if you don't reserve. Ate and drank most days for lunch at the pool, service was great and always quick.

The weekends are a nightmare for pool time due to this expensive hotel, which guests are paying big bucks for a room and access to the amenities, allows the public, non paying guests, to purchase pool passes. It’s crazy crowed and loud... AVOID coming during the weekend. The rest of the week is really nice as it should be 7 days a week. I gave a 3 for the pool otherwise I’d give this hotel a 5.

They blame everything on Covid. The fact that the expensive room was not made up at 3:00PM is covids fault.
This noisy room with the footpath 20 feet away is not their fault.
The shuttle refused to take us to a restaurant 1.2 miles from the hotel which it advertises as someting they do.
The room phone said the room was 3108 but the room was 2152.

People were maskless in the lobby especilly in the evening..They walked around with a drink in their hand to get around the mask policy

They were sorry but after going there for 10 years I know the difference between a well run hotel and a troubled franchise.

Stayed here for three nights. The 29 holes of the course were immaculate. Beautiful fairways, greens were excellent, the whole resort grounds were in excellent condition. A very special place for a golf getaway. The resort has so much to offer for people of all ages. Plenty of places to eat on the grounds. And an easy walk off resort to other restaurants and shops. We were told at the time no one would clean the room due to Covid. That was fine. Room was very comfortable, very large screen TV and we had a balcony. Bathroom was very clean.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Our room was never touched. Had to ask for towels toiletries.
If you are not going to service your customers then don’t charge the prices you do. Covid or not the rooms should be cleaned and refreshed with towels and toiletries. On the positive side the guys at the Valet were fantastic. Unfortunately we will pass on this hotel next time and stay where they service their customers!!

I think it’s the Villas that are on the opposite side of the pool. I don’t believe they offered these in the main hotel wings. We had an upgraded 1 bedroom Master Suite and I think that was the largest in the main building. They were super friendly if you call the main number!

We had a 2-bedroom suite that didn’t overlook the pool. We had zero noise issues. It likely depends on the particular groups staying on a given night. Our experience was absolutely fantastic!

There can be noise issues. Usually the fire pits and bars close at a reasonable hour. Our recent stay was rudely interrupted by the "pool guys" dragging some sort of metal object along the concrete, laughing and joking at 4:00 AM! Mentioned it to the staff and they were "sorry" but we're villa owners. My guess is if I were a paying customer, I would have received a credit for one night. Just seems like since Marriott took over, the quality and customer service has gone down. My opinion.
