WHAT THEHEEBEE SAYS ABOUT SANDESH THE PRINCE
This was my third visit to Sandesh The Prince and first experience of staying here. Prior to this trip, I had visited twice for lunch during my one-day trips to Mysuru.
Sandesh The Prine is a lovely hotel at Mysuru and is apt for an overnight stay as well as for food. I would recommend this as a family place.
Sandesh The Prince will give you a glimpse of Mysuru's rich heritage. The hotel has all modern amenities along with the rustic charm of the princely city. Extensive use of colors, wood, brass, glass, etc gives a glimpse of how rich the city's heritage had been.
It has ample parking space, valet parking facility and modern amenities like swimming pool, fitness center, beauty parlor, etc. There is also a silk emporium on its premises, making it handly for shopping.
It hosts a restaurant, coffee shop, cocktail lounge and pub. Guests can enjoy multi-cuisine food along with some good liquor and get refreshed. In the morning they serve a very good spread of buffet breakfast that consists of Indian and Western food items.
Check-in, room service, and check-out were very smooth and quick. The staff is attentive, helpful and caring.
Rooms are of decent size with a double bed, sofa, study table, coffee table, mini-refrigerator with bar, safety locker, closet, Television, and Air conditioner. The bathroom has modern amenities like bathtub, toiletries, clean towel and napkins, and hairdryer.
The swimming pool is of moderate size and gives the much-needed refreshment when we are back to the hotel after sightseeing the whole day.
The best thing about Sandesh The Prince is its location. It is located very close to the city center, palace, zoo, and a few other tourist spots. Accessing tourist spots and the market is very easy from here. One can go by car or by auto as well.
