Most popular question about the rooms
... style bikes (Bike Friday's). We would like to come September 2016. They fold up, will the hotel allow us to take them to our room or is there storage elsewhere for bikes?

First of all, it is a boat so don't expect swimming pools, tennis court or a huge parking lot - you get none of these but the experience is like no other. The rooms are not huge - again people, it is a boat! - but we were able to share between the 3 of us without much problem. Clean linen, fresh paint, new carpets, the boat seems to have been recently remodeled which was a nice surprise.
I loved breakfast, good variety and well served.
And the Botel is just a few steps away from the old city, an incredibly good location.
Oh and the botel does not move ... it is anchored and tied to the shore so only minimal movements can be felt - if any. Even my wife was OK with it ...We spent 2 nights and she only mentioned it once, but I am sure it was only a fruit of her imagination.
You will however have problems if you are driving - parking in central Bratislava is very expensive. The Botel has 4 - yes, only 4 - parking spaces so lose any hopes of parking in front of the place. We had to drive back across the bridge to find a parking spot. We walked back over the bridge, about 2KM walk but a taxi is an obvious option. Parking n the lot at Carlton hotel costs EUR 67.50 a day, which is almost what we paid for the room.

Just accross the street and you find the city center. The lady staff was nice and kind. Our room was small but clean, facing the Danube river. The only negative thing was very hot in the room. No aircon but a small electric fan. Breakfast was great.

This was such an interesting place and a great way to stay on the Danube. So close to the city for sightseeing. The rooms are sparse but it is a very low cost place generally. A room on the river side is a must for a decent view in the mornings. The staff were a little stand-off ish but that wasn't a big deal. Breakfast was a fairly basic affair but it was great to have it included in the price.

Room was basic. Uncomfortable hard bed, no face cloths, hand towels, etc. the worst thing was no air conditioning. Don't stay here during summer months. Breakfast was very poor. The positive was our room faced the river which was nice. Also, the location to town is good. Botel is no frills!

Room was utilitarian. We requested triple and room 205 had individual beds with reasonable comfort for price. Don't expect big luxury. Upstairs bar is bright and nice. Location optimal just cross the street for Old Town or a climb to Castle Hill. Got exactly what we expected. No more no less. Breakfast ok. Disappointed they wanted 10 Euros to use a blow dryer. Skipped washing my hair til Vienna.

The hotel allows you to lock them up just outside. It is just next to the receptions. We really liked the hotel.
I don't think it has a disco on board, but city centre is within a 5 min walk. The renovation might be finished as I don't remember any works being carried out at Christmas time when I stayed there. They deffinitely serve breakfast on board, but not sure about lunch and dinner meals! Hope this helps! :)
