While at a lovely restaurant enjoying a meal in Galway, we were asked where our next stop would be. Frankly we didn't know since we had rented a car for a week and just decided to be adventuresome. Well our restauranteur says … "You need to visit Dingle and stay at John and Eileen Brosnan's B&B." He was so right, and we spent two nights in the charming Dingle village enjoying the Pubs, Irish Music and a special tour of the countryside. Brosnan's B&B provided a very nice room with private bath and a great morning breakfast. Best of all was spending time with John & Eileen - truly nice people!

I stayed here with a friend for one night, during our trip in Ireland.
We were very tired because of a day's drive and when we ended up in this B&B, we were delighted - the owners are very friendly, the welcome is warm and nice, it is a real pleasure to chat and listen to the stories of a person who really loves the sea and has a lot to tell you.
The room was big, cosy, nice. And the breakfast, tasty and generous.
I would certainly recommend a stay here.

We stayed one night. The room was very spacious, and very clean. The bathroom was also large, with an extra large shower, and very clean. The B&B felt more like a well-run hostel than a B&B compared with the others we stayed at in Ireland. It is very functional. I would recommend it to those seeking a clean, comfortable, simple stay near town, but not those seeking a romantic or unique B&B experience.

A clean, quiet and comfortable room, fabulous breakfast, warm caring hosts and a short walk into town. I couldn't ask for more. Melanie and John did everything they could to make our stay special. Truly an excellent find.

We arrived at the doorstep of the Brosnans after a wonderful day of touring from Galway to Dingle. We had spent the week enjoying our dream vacation in Ireland and needed a place just to relax -Brosnans' B&B was the perfect fit for our family. We were greeted by John in his joyful warm manner and we were guided to our rooms. My husband and I had a spacious spotless room with a view of the harbor. Our sons had a tidy comfortable room on the 3rd floor-just right for them.We had the good fortune to stay with the Brosnans for 3 nights. John, Eileen and their daughter Mel were wonderful genuine hosts. Our breakfasts were delightful we had a variety of choices and I was grateful for a good cup of coffee. Our boys are 15 and 20 the Brosnans welcomed them with open arms,The living room was so pleasant such a nice place to visit with other guests. The Brosnans' were patient with our oldest when he decided on our do nothing day to sleep in -Mel made sure he had breakfast.(I was for letting him miss out) Our youngest enjoyed the sea gull at the window....We appreciated the tips Mel gave us on restaurants- Eileen was so good natured as I visited with her in the kitchen. Our boys appreciated the location and how easy it was to walk all over-especially the fact that there are 3 ice cream places in town. It was all the little things that made our stay so special-authentic down to earth moments which made us feel we were welcomed treasured guests. Definitely planning to return some day!
