We've always had a foreign break but Covid put the lid on that.
We had 2 sea view rooms which were large & lovely.Felt very safe infection wise.Breakfast was very good & although the service wasn't fast it was friendly & we got all we asked for.Had to book the pool but again got the time we wanted.Slots are 1/2hr.Towels supplied. We ate in 1 night.Again a pleasant meal if a bit unimaginative. The staff were friendly & efficient.Would definitely stay there again .
We stayed here in September before the tighter covid restrictions.
We were fortunate to find a pay and display parking space near the hotel on the seafront as the hotel's small car park was full. We were checked in by quite an officious receptionist and were surprised to be asked to pay for our stay on arrival.
We were upgraded to a lovely suite which had big windows overlooking the seafront so we could watch the world go by. It was very comfortable but could have done with some dusting in the corners especially in the bathroom.
We enjoyed a complimentary afternoon tea as we had booked directly with the hotel and had dinner in both the terrace bar and the Chantery restaurant. We enjoyed the Terrace bar more as we had a table overlooking the seafront and the food was reasonably priced and tasty. In Chantery's the starters and main courses were nothing special although the desserts were delicious. We had a 7.30pm booking but we felt we were being hurried along all the time so the staff could set up for breakfast. For an expensive restaurant it wasn't very relaxing.
Breakfast was all served at the table and was good.
The swimming pool was well organised in 30 minute slots so I could enjoy a swim and 10 minutes in the jacuzzi safely each afternoon.
We would probably stay here again if we visited LLandudno.
Fiona and i would just like to say a massive thank you to all the staff during our few days at The Imperial, we had amazing weather which certainly enhanced our stay.
From arriving at 9.30am on Sunday for breakfast on the Terrace to our 2 nights enjoying the amazing dinner in the Chantry restaurant we had an absolutely wonderful time.
We would like to mention the exceptional service in the restaurant from Carrie, Stan***(sorry didnt get his full name) & Caterina who all made sure our holiday was 1st Class, please pass on our sincere thanks to them.
Our room on the 3rd had the most beautiful views both up the promenade and directly out to sea and the pier and The Orme, truly wonderful.
Our time in the Spa/pool was both well managed and delightful and was the perfect thing before getting ready for dinner.
Please pass on our congratulations to the whole team for making our mini holiday so special.

Lovely hotel, very clean and comfortable, hand sanitizer everywhere, staff are really nice, rooms a bit old
fashioned, but clean and comfy, breakfast ok, would stay here again, managed to get a slot for pool, which we had to book, had pool to ourselves, pool area clean
The hotel was really nice and welcoming. from the reception staff that was helpful and welcoming, through the breakfast that was really nice. the team in the breakfast dining room were also very helpful and provided a great service.
the swimming pool is very nice and we managed to book it despite the limitations of the COVID situation. The hotel is managing to run the pool in small groups each time.
The location of the hotel in the middle of the city is really nice, it is close to everything.
