A two-bedroom villa was the perfect alternative to a hotel on our driving tour. The villa had a very functional kitchen and a comfortable living room. Plus its own sauna. And a deck for enjoying the long June evening when the weather permits. (Be aware of the plentiful mosquitos.)

Our villa was a short walk to the beach and an easy walk to the restaurant at Nallikari.

Bedrooms are on the small side and there is no air conditioning which usually isn’t a major problem.

Visited this place in the darkest days of the year between Xmas and the New Year. Everything was clean and smooth, exept the manual for the dishwasher that we could not start. Snow all around was fabulous. Wi-fi in the room could be expected in hi-tech country as Finland. Highly recomended!

It was our short visit there, me and my wife with our 4 kids. They love the unique attic room. It was quiet, peaceful, enjoying the mind-blowing frozen Gulf of Bothnian sea waves. We hoped to catch the Northern Light but no luck this time. One thing we regret is that we didn't bring enough food to cook or eat. No restaurants around except at Eden Hotel which is good but costly for us. Overall, this is the nearest awesome relaxing spot for us from the city of Oulu.

On Sunday, bus number 15 starts at 10am hourly to the city centre.

Stayed in cottages with groups of school children. Cottages have all you need for a short stay. Very comfortable. Ladders to loft bedroom steep so not suitable for very young. Site very pleasant, close to the beach. Cafe good but shop a bit limited.
