We stayed for 4 nights in February. Booked on very short notice. Office staff very nice and helpful. Our 2 bedroom condo was very clean. All new appliances , washer and dryer. Our unit was facing the road but had no issues with noise. The resort is not on the beach. There is a building between the resort and the beach. Beach is very small and setting up your chair can be difficult. We didn’t use the beach however their pool is very inviting well kept and lots of shade. Cost with tax was $300. US. a night. Very reasonable considering it was high season. Highly recommend the resort.

We had a generously sized 2 bedroom ground floor condo overlooking the pool on one side and the parking lot on the other. The bedroom facing the parking lot also was near the dumpsters. About 5 AM, we were rudely awoken by the crashing and clanging of the dumpsters as it was garbage collection time. This was unfortunate for my son, who needed to rise early to meet a scuba dive pickup. And that was after we had already been sleep deprived from our 6 AM flight the previous day. The roosters, cute during daylight hours, scream like they're being strangled on frequent intervals, beginning at 11 PM until the early morning. I'm not sure if they were this noisy because they were near the dumpsters.

Our other bedroom faced the pool, and we did not hear the dumpsters or the chickens at all. My son ended up joining us in our room two of the nights when he couldn't take the noise anymore. Luckily we were there over XMAS and Boxing day, when there is no garbage pickup and there was less of an early morning crowing fest.

Other than that, the rooms were beautiful, the beds comfortable, the bathrooms well appointed and clean, the kitchen full of every appliance (microwave, oven, dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer) The kitchen had a full wrap around Corian counter space, lots of utensils and plates and cups. It could have used some measuring cups, but I improvised anyways. It also had cleaning supplies, but I had to buy my own laundry detergent. It also would have been nice if it had had spices for cooking. A full sized refrigerator (could not get ice maker to work) was handy in storing our leftovers. We saved a lot on food by shopping at nearby Fosters and cooking our own breakfast and some dinners.

The conveniently located pool was spacious and mostly empty. The hot tub was a pleasant way to meet other guests and relax at night. I liked the screened in lanai where we left our clothes to dry overnight under the ceiling fan. The living room couch was also comfortable for hanging out and converts into additional bedding. We had our meals at the glass dining room table. It was easy to stay here.

The beach front, however, was sadly eroded away at this location and offered absolutely no place to put a chair. To reach the beach, we had to jump off a high up step onto flea infested seaweed, only to wade through more disgusting seaweed until we reached the neighboring resort. The Marriott next door actually rakes away all the seaweed, leaving beautiful sand to enjoy. It also afford its guest several rows of beach chairs. But it is also much more expensive than this condo, so be prepared to enter the beach from the stairs I mentioned before, or walk around the front of the hotel and enter that way. The 7 Mile Beach Resort and Club offers free passes to a neighboring resort. We never took the time to try it but it is probably worth doing if you intend to spend a lot of time on this beach. We spent most of our week on tours and scuba dives, which pick up in front of this condo. The staff was nice here. Definitely go to the orientation on Monday, where they tell you what to see on the island, while serving the most delicious donuts and juice. This is where we met our tour guide, Gilbert, who you must hire for the best private personalized tour ever!

Loved this property 2 bedroom was spacious clean. Balcony was fuurnished wish is wasnt so hott there would have loved to sit outside more. Everyone working and staying at the resort was so friendly. My family enjoyed are stay pool was huge very warm water Hot tub but it was to hott outside to get in for more than a minute. You can go next store to get gree tour bus to turtle attratiction. Only downside we had rm 18 so they were doing all the cleaning , fixing and painting in front of our room they wasnt loud but eveytime you went out buch of people looking at you. Check in was easy but a little hard to find its a room just like you stay in so soon as you pull in its on 2nd fl. Movie by the pool was fun and loved the aerobics great instructors. Definately would stay here again. Market .restaurants near by walking distance. Rented a car by left side of rode driving scary. Definetly go to snorkel and see stingrays awesome expierience.

No it is not on the beach. Walk to the beach it is a couple blocks away. The pool is beautiful but the hot tub jets were not working. I told the front desk for two days. On the third day I found a maintenance man and he said there was a broken pipe and it took some time to fix but they had it working before the end of third day. The TV's in the bedrooms kept disconnecting fron the network and so they were basically non-functional. The bathroom drains were partially clogged. Air conditioner worked great and it was nice to come back to a cool room. The washer and dryer were really great. It was nice not to have a collection of dirty clothes to haul home. The staff were polite and helpful. Lastly, we were there for four days without any cleaning being done. No one changed the linen, gave us fresh towels, or took out the trash. So we had several bags of trash, dirty towels, and sheeting needing to be changed. Not a problem since we had a washer we washed the towels we had plus had extra beach towels. The day before we left a nice lady offered to clean but since it had been four days we just said, "We are OK." They had a dish set in the kitchen but no dish soap. It made me a little concerned about the cleanliness of the dishes. I used a bar of soap and ran it under water to get some soapy water to wash them. This is a beautiful resort with full kitchen and a lot of space for a very reasonable price. I would do it again.

A family trip to the Cayman's to dive. This resort was hal a block from the beach and an easy walk to town. Nice pool and staff. The only down side was the beach was severely eroded in that area. There was great snorkeling though.

Is the swimming pool currently open
Answer from Craig D

The swimming pool was open when I was there, shut down one day for the building next to it for something but otherwise open the whole time. They were very good about email response and I would suggest emailing them to make sure.

No ocean view. Many of the rooms face the pool. They were still under construction when we were there in Sept.

We had a full size fridge, oven, stove top, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, and toaster. They had stocked paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent as well as dish towels and rags. There are towels available in your room to use at the pool, they were in our closet and were beach towel size. We were there two weeks ago and the beach in front of the resort was gone from Hurricane Nate but they did setup the beach chairs a bit further down on the beach so just ask where you can go do use them.

Yes, the pool and patio tables and grill were available for our use last year. It was adjacent to the pool where the property was being worked on. It was not exactly inside the pool area but next to it. The annoying part was that when the men were working it was loud. But we actually didn't experience a whole lot of work while we were there. The best part was the beach which was a two minute walk. And next-door is a huge Marriott hotel where we booked excursions from, had drinks and appetizers and enjoyed ourselves

Charlotte, North Carolina
Are they still renovating? And does the pool have water in it?
Answer from PamelaCapeCod_MA
Apr 2017 |
They are still renovating the last building. The pool is fine-clean & clear without any new issues that I know of, BUT the renovations are likely to go on until into the Fall on that last building.
