Feels like home. Nobody better than Anne the manager. Great location. Gated entrance. Free breakfast. Nice clean rooms. Easy walk to beach or restaurants. Anne goes above and beyond to put it mildly. Can’t wait to get back. All rooms overlook pool. Tremendous value
Thank you for a splendid 14 days at your fantskisk hotel. Palm Court is I will say a Condo not a Hotel, but that is perfect. New renovated with separate WC, and very large bathroom. The bed is very large and comfor. AIl the apartments have view over the pool and it is 3 floor. Anne and her staff is very kindli and always at your servent. And the try alvays do the best for you. The rooms rate is include breakfast, whish are simly but very good. Pool is open 24/7 and is refresshing after a long evening. Palm Court is locat in a quiet area approximately 4min walk from the beach. There is grocery half way to the beach.
I promise we will be back.
ATM is 5 km away, and you need a car. But all places take card. And don't forget, this is an island and all need to transportation with boat or fly. So something is expensive.
Completely remodeled since the latest hurricane, Palm Court remains a most excellent venue for a St. Martin getaway. On the French side, just a short block from Orient Beach (you can hear the waves from your room), the stay includes beach chairs and an umbrella for all guests. A bountiful continental breakfast by the pool is included, and for $6 extra, you can get eggs, bacon, hash browns or pancakes. If you get tired of the Beach, lounge chairs by the pool are an excellent alternative. One block from Orient Village, with gourmet restaurants, a small grocery and other food choices. The manager, Anne Jacques, will make sure your every wish is taken care of. All 28 rooms are identical, so you only have to choose first floor (walk out directly to the grounds and pool), or second/third floor (balconies).
We have been visiting Orient Beach for many years and have stayed at a number of different hotels, some of which no longer exist. We decided to try Palm Court, and could not have been happier. Our totally refurbished room was superb across the board; squeaky clean and with everything you need. Continental breakfast at the pool, excellent as well. Short easy walk to the "square" and Bikini Beach, where you have lounges and an umbrella waiting. Finally, the hotel's Director, Anne, could not have been friendlier, more professional, or accomodating. We have already made our reservations for next year.
In May we returned for the third time to Palm court and it was just as great as the first two times. It’s more a boutique hotel with large clean rooms small kitchenette. The beds are comfortable and a/c is perfect . The facilities have a pool, and outdoor eating area where you can have made to order eggs and continental breakfast. It is quiet and quaint and beautiful. The staff is wonderful and friendly. It’s in a gated community and truly very safe. A 1 minute walk leads you to restaurants and bars as well as a made to order pizza place. There is a large convinient store where you can buy fresh baguettes, cheese wine and most foods. There are bars along the beach as well and you can stroll each night looking for a new one. The beach is perfect. Palm court offers chairs and umbrellas at beach towels in the best part of the beach attached to a wonderful restaurant that serves good food and great wine. A 2minute drive will take you to a large grocery store and several restaurants and a gym. I have nothing but amazing things to say about one of my favourite places in St. Maarten. A car is a must and you can see everything you need in a week. Talk to the Hotel staff and they will tell you little hidden gems throughout the island. I would not bring smaller children s they may get bored but we leave the kids at home and enjoy 10 days of bliss. It’s well worth it. We will definaltey go back and stay at Palm Court every chance we get.
