There are so many top-notch pizza places in the city, it’s hard to pick just one. However, John’s of Bleecker Street keeps it real with great pies cooked in an ancient coal-fired oven. Pair a pizza with a cold mug of beer and enjoy the old-school dining room - it might not be fancy but it certainly has character.

A meal at Mario Batali’s cozy Italian hideaway in Greenwich Village is a lovely experience you won’t soon forget. The gourmet Italian pastas are out of this world, and the long wine list is filled with great selections.
