Points of Interest

1. Trailhead Parking

This is a very busy parking lot on busy weekends and also a place of high theft so don't leave too many valuables in your car. You will want to start out on the Pratt Lake Trail but soon will take a right onto the Granite Mountain Trail in about a mile.

2. Granite Mountain Trail Junction

Turn off the Pratt trail and head right up the steep Granite Mountain trail to the top of the mountain.

3. Granite Mountain Summit

You are now at 5,629 feet and at the top of Granite Mountain. You will have great views over the surrounding northern cascades as well as a good view of Mt. Rainier to the south. The fire tower is usually closed unfortunately.
