Points of Interest

1. Allen-Tanner Cemetery

A small historic cemetery is tucked behind a stone wall. Roughly half of the graves were moved to the Plain Meeting House Cemetery, but see if you can find the Amy Allen stone. The hayfield is known locally as the Amy Allen lot.

2. Four-Mile View

The farm on the far ridge to the west is about four miles away, in Sterling, CT. The clearing was created in 2009, to provide nesting habitat for eastern towhees and prairie warblers, which are declining across the region.
