Points of Interest

1. Mitchell Canyon parking area

Hike starts and ends here. Options are to take on Eagle Peak first on fresh legs, or save it for last (the steep descent could be painful if you have knee issues).

2. Deer Flat

Excellent place to rest up and enjoy a snack.

3. Murchio Gap

Another excellent spot to kick back and enjoy the scenery and scramble on the rocks.

4. Eagle Peak

Some of the best views in the Bay Area are available up here.

5. Twin Peaks

It's a steep ascent/descent to this point. The views are spectacular.
