BALI - A beginner's guide to paradise

Bali was really just an accident but once we had been the first time we just wanted to keep crashing! The sights, the smells (some not so good), the flavours and the culture all culminate to enliven the senses and enrich the palate. If you want to stick to the tourist regions you will get the same as every other tourist destination in the world but the wonderful thing about Bali is the ability to so easily fall off the tourist track and into the undergrowth that is the real world of Bali. At times you will not believe what you are seeing, and at times you just want to leave but for the traveler who wants to engage in the country that they are in it is essential that you seek out the less well trodden path, and for this you will be justly rewarded with experiences and memories that will stay with you a life time.

Its the closest beach and it goes on for miles. You can rent a chair, a brollie, a surf board, get a massage, buy an ice cream and a cold beer. What more could you ask for?

Great fun, lots of shopping. Make sure you go down every dead end alley and back street shop as you will never know what you might find.
