This is an amazing place with all the carvings of the elephants, lions and other animals. It is fairly large and is 350m long
Well this is the best part of all the sites and you should go early in the morning (just before sunrise) to get the best views. You will need a long time here seeing this amazing temple
You could never imagine how trees can transform a place. Get here early otherwise it get too crowded.
Just more fabulous temples. It is a place to visit as it is different from Angkor Wat
Great place as well to visit and explore. again get a guide or read a book about the place prior to coming
This is a place where you should come and see. After you see this place you will realise the terrible legacy that has been left by Pol Pot and is still causing lots of damage even today.
Yet more places to see and admire. You can walk this place for hours but take a guide or get a book about the place.
Again it is part of the Siem Reap experience and just go and visit
The carvings and reliefs are just amazing to see. You should get a guide
There are some amazing art products here and it is well worth a visit
The food here is just delicious and the service is great. You can eat spiders if you like. Overall very good value
This place in the dry season is totally different and in the wet season it is just fantastic. They all live perched in the water.
This place is a very sobering place so beware you may get a bit emotional. It is terribly sad to see what the human kind can do to one another
Always nice to see how the locals live or lived in real life.
Yet another water village. it is good to visit to see how they manage in the water village.
Probably not every ones idea of a place to visit but you do get some history about all the conflicts that went on.
There is a little bit of history about the place so read up before you go. It is worth the visit
This is just another wonderful temple complex and is not frequented as much as Angkor Wat so it is easier to walk around
This is probably the best way to visit the ancient ruins. If you only go for a day trip and are staying longer nearby, get a three day pass on the first day so that you can come back and see thing that you missed or want to see in more detail. It is easy to get transport to the ruins from town. Be prepared to have a long day as there is lots to do in just a one day tour.
We unfortunately missed this as it was raining but from what other travellers told us it is the market place to see. There is a lot of junk stuff but it apparently is just fun to see. You can get a meal there as well.
