This is the most breathtaking sight in Munich that once could possibly have while enjoying a fresh panini, beer, or coffee on a roof terrace. A little hard to access this makes it a popular spot for the locals (especially us young university kids) because you have to be able to find it. Enter the TU building and take a left once inside. This will lead you to a long corridor. At the end is a large room with a stair case and two elevators. Take the elevator to the last floor and once the door open prepare to be amazed!
Confession. Before coming here I had never tried a burger before... I know I am not a true American. When tasting their House Burger I felt like God himself had kissed me on the lips! If there is anything you need to try while in Munich... ITS BURGER HOUSE!!
This is probably one of the most beautiful historic sights in Munich. If its a beautiful day out and you wanna take a breathtaking walk through gardens while visiting small castles along the way this is your place! Then once you're hungry feel free to stop at the garden cafe for a little well deserved ice cream :)
You're hungry but have no clue what you wanna eat? Ocui. Stands for Open Cuisine a.k.a. you think of it and they've pretty much got it. The best part is that they simply give you a card and it adds up your charges to pay at the end. So you can sit all night without a waiter asking if you want to pay.
Its a beautiful day in Munich = I can assure you the English gardens will be a lovely spot to tourist watch. To get away I recommend this well loved park! Full of nature is even better than any other park in the city!
Ready to club a little? 089 is the place to go! I don't think I've ever had a bad time there! The best part is its in a great location!
Ok. I will admit this is slightly more touristy HOWEVER (!!!) this is the best cake you will ever taste! Some of them taste like you are eating a flower and others just send you straight to heaven! if you have 7 euro to spend spend it here!
This is one of the best places to walk around Munich if you wanna see how people really live and stop at cute cafes along the way. Probably one of the quaintest neighborhoods in the city its a must see.
Breakfast anyone? This is one of the best cafes in Munich with the best croissants outside of Paris itself. Located in a beautiful part of Munich anyone who knows how to live will come here for a cup of coffee and something off of their amazing menu!
If you really wanna see how the locals live and possibly have the opportunity to bump into me this is your place! One of the best italian restaurants I have ever been to with the nicest and most cozy interior. the garden outside is perfect for those summer nights and the staff there is the nicest and most true Italian on Earth.
My most recent discovery I almost went here for lunch and dinner in one day. This restaurant not only has good food but good prices as well. The best part is its located in a great part of munich thats a lot of fun to explore! The staff are also the cutest people ever!
Don't know where to stay? well I know a place that is local, well priced, and most importantly "Gay Uncles" approved (seriously they stay here every time without fail). This hotel has all you need right in the best location of munich! What more could you want!
This place was the biggest surprise of my life. Located inside one of the coolest furniture stores I have ever seen it's 4 floors up with a stunning view of the city. The best part? AMAZING FOOD! Im talking 5 star cuisine here. The restaurant itself is absolutely amazing since its furnished by the store and the staff is not your normal restaurant staff... these guys are cool.
Been on the road a while and you finally wanna place that feels like your little Italian home? this is the place. The staff is like family and the place itself is furnished like that kitchen you always wanted! And the best part is the dessert is like a party in your mouth!
Finneeeeeee. A little touristy BUT! the key is knowing where to go and what to do! I say no to the beer garden and yes to swimming in the river! then rent a bike and work your way North beyond the lake! Here the tourists never go, the beer gardens are better and the city tends to not maintain the garden as much so the grass is tall and its perfect for those boho photoshoots you always wanted to do!
