In Dublin you are able to celebrate "life", happiness, and history. The culture is focused on being alive, yet aware of the past. All people are welcome, Dublin has a long history, Ireland a much longer history. I will present ideas of places to wander, in now way are my suggestions complete, but they are directed at the person who wants to get an introduction of how to wander around the center of town and understand what they have in front of them.

MO4975678910's City Tips

  • Keep track of where you are in relationship to the River Liffey. The town is friendly, and relaxed, when ordering food ask your Server for suggestions.
  • Before you go watch the Rick Steves video and plan your experience.
  • Christ Church Jury's is a convenient location to use as a base to explore that side of the River, so many places that are close at hand, parking adjacent in a ramp.
  • O'Connell Street is a great slice of a shopping experience, If you stay at the Gresham or the Best Western Academy there is a parking ramp convenient.

OMG, the experience is worldly, but a bit overplayed. Great explanation of the history of book creation, and you get to eventually view actual pages, but you are forced to endure the experience with senior citizens who are undergoing a catharsis of sorts.
