A City full off Irish Charm & such a buzz

91%
Found this guide helpful

Dublin is a City which has it all, very charming locals. There is a huge variety of restaurants for all budgets, the bars are always great and have good vibe, best to experience the ones away from Temple bar if you want a more economic authentic experience although Temple Bar area is a must when in Dub. There is a good public transport system but we usually like to just wander around, stopping for a coffee or a Guinness while soaking up the fab atmosphere or to just stroll around the shops but for the history buffs there's so much also to see. The choice is yours but Dublin has it all for me and is never a boring place to visit. My most recent visit involved Trinity College, so impressive! Previously my husband has taken a bicycle tour which took in a lot of the main attractions. The Guinness Factory is a must but other features such as St Patrick's Cathedral, the Castle with it's medieval centre and the Dublina viking centre are very much worth a visit.

Sal750's City Tips

  • Always chat the Taxi drivers they are great for local info and news of whats on etc
  • Irish people like a tip and are very gracious if given one, always try the Guinness its nicest closest to its home! The buskers are also nice to listen to when meandering around the Temple Bar and Grafton street areas.
