I am Canadian Euro Wanna Be! I love the food, wine, fashion and overall culture. I look for value for money but occasionally splurge when the mood strikes. As much as possible, I try and look "local" and make vain attempts at the language. My favourite experiences are the small things like chatting with a neighbour in a cafe or shopping in the corner grocer. It's all about the experience!

Just rated #1 coffee in Vancouver, funky, eclectic, excellent coffee.
Great for dinner, good value, local product used in ingredients. Very nice ambiance
A MUST EAT! One of the best sandwiches in the City. Trust me, it's memorable! Very good prices, under $10 pp.
The Cactus Club at the Convention Center has incredible views and no extra charge. Good value. A bit of a place to be scene after work. Fun people watching
Best Irish Pub in the City. A bit unpolished but so much fun
Great views, lots and lots of locals. A fantastic outdoor patio for drinks. Food is OK, not special but edible.
The #1 tourist attraction in the City. No visit would be complete without seeing it. Very natural setting for being in the City.
Great to watch the comings and goings of the ships and passengers. Lined with restaurants and pubs. Always something going on.
Spectacular setting! A great bike ride from downtown.
Another must see while in the City. Locals get there early. So many places to eat. Lots of street entertainment and good craft shopping
Visit while on the Island! great bike path around the perimeter.
Beautiful beach with views of North Shore Mountains. Great for kids.
Adjacent to Jericho Beach. Vollyball usually happening. Many families with picnics
RENT a bike and do one of the BEST city rides in the world. It's dead flat so it's easy and you will see 90% of the best things in Van
If you like to eat or drink or get your hair and nails done, this is the "hood" Way too many choices of restaurants. But all good
Not really a must see but easy to see as it's compact. Nothing all that special actually.
Historic. A bit edgy as it border Vancouver's notorious East Side. Lots of funky shops and restaurants. Worth a visit for sure. Some of the stores are tourist tacky. sorry!
