The Old Anchor Inn B&B Annascaul Questions & Answers

St. Marys, Georgia

I would like to come from Dublin to visit in March, specifically 3/14-15 and return to Dublin on the 16th. I will not have a car. What is the best way to to Annascaul from Dublin? Are there any kind of tours available once I am in Annascaul?

You would be advised to travel by car although you could go by train to Tralee and then catch a bus to Annascaul. There may be tours in the summer months but check with Brian at the Old Anchor Inn (as he has all the info about the area) to see if there are any in March. The Old Anchor Inn is lovely and the owners most welcoming.

Hi! We went to Annascaul by car. Annascaul is a real small village, so I think that there are no tours available. We stayed there only for sleeping (we were traveling from Dingle to Killarney).

Hi, Used a car myself as it's by far the easiest way. A quick look though is to go by Train to Tralee and the catch the Bus to Annascaul. Total travel time around 6 Hours one way however from Dublin. No tours other than quite a lot of walkers that I know of but the very helpful staff at the Old Anchor are excellent, as are the staff at the South Pole Inn for local info. Hope that Helps!
