Im sorry, I did not see this question. WQe prefer the pool loungers. Are the moni cabanas at the adult pool? If you do not have kids thats where you want to be.

To be honest, I didn't do either....too crowded for my taste....so I wandered to the beach and enjoyed myself there instead.

Personally, my wife and I rented a beach umbrella from a local place for a fairly inexpensive price. We had it for the entire week, just took it wherever we wanted to go and returned it at the end of the week. Its a great idea if you plan on spending time at the beach.

I think it depends on how much sun you want/can handle. We rented a cabana b/c we wanted a shady spot all day. But the mini cabanas seemed to offer that as well. No shade for the pool loungers. Also, if you rent one (pool lounger, mini cabana or cabana) they are half price after 1pm :)

There is a cost to rent the lounge chairs that are in the pool. If your goal is to get a dark tan and your skin can handle it, rent the lounge chairs. If you are sensitive to the sun and burn easily, opt for the cabanas.

It is almost whatever you can get - of course the cabanas which are nicer are more expensive of the two. When we were there in September we could not get either as they were fully booked even for days out so you may want to try as soon as you get there and plan your pool day around the rest of your schedule. Hope this if of help to you - Best wishes!

I think the cabana is super expensive but the pool lounges were free when you stay at the hotel (from what I can remember)

Actually now that you mention it - maybe there was a price for the first row or you had to be part of a travel vip club

We love the Cabana as you are ensured of a shady spot all day

Sorry for the late response. We did react both of them. Cabana is pricey but more comfortable. Comes with water/soda and two alcoholic beverages.
