How is the location of this hotel? is it a safe area? And is the beach near by?
yes its safe. its on kuhio ave which is across from what used to be the old market place now a fancy upscale mall with stores and eats.the beach is a quick cut through the mall and across the street .
The area seemed safe. You need a room keycard for the elevator. The hotel is a few blocks' walk from the beach. We walked around frequently.
Location is accessible to shopping and a few blocks away from the beach. It's right across the street from the international market where you can find good local eats and a few fine dining. Felt safe walking the strip late at night. Ala Moana Shopping Center is within walking distance also.
The area is very safe, police station is about 3 blocks away directly on the beach. International market just a few steps away, several great restaurants there. Restaurants all up and down the street. Great breakfast buffet in the hotel. Beach is a lovely ten minute walk, about 3 blocks.
OOh I almost forgot! If you're craving pizza there is a little 'hole in the wall" by the slice place a few blocks past Nordstrom Rack that I can highly recommend.... plus a Dean and Deluca a few blocks past that...
Great location actually - not as busy a street as the main beach road. But very easy and short walk, plus a little market next door and lots of eating options nearby. Can highly recommend Kona Coffee across the road, as well as Surf and Turf tacos! Great sandwich and salad options from the market for lunches etc
When we stayed there was new eating area just opening on the ground floor of the International Market - some great options. Plus up on the roof of the International Market there are a lot of good restaurants too.
