Hacienda Del Sol Guest Ranch Resort Questions & Answers

Las Cruces, NM

I know you allow pets (for an extra charge) but can they come to the patio restaurant or historic pool area? Obviously I know they can't get in the pool, but wondering if a very well behaved dog could sit in the shade by the pool? Also, which rooms are the very private, separate rooms below the historic pool? We stayed in a Catalina suite directly adjacent to the infinity pool last time, and it was stunning, but would like to try something different. Thanks!

Zweihigh84,

Thanks so much for returning! . As an owner of 4 Shih Tzu's, I can totally understand wanting to have them with you while you relax and dine but, out of consideration for our other guests, our pools and restaurants do not allow pets.

As for the rooms, I believe you are talking about rooms 1-6 and 48 and 49. These rooms are on the west side of the property and most feature views to the west, which is great for sunsets. The room types are Hacienda Deluxes (rooms 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6), a Suite (room 4), and our 2 Casita Suites (48 and 49). For more specifics about these room types just let us know. We can help 24/7 at 520-299-1501.

Thanks and we look forward to seeing you back again!

Sincerely,

Pets are not allowed at the pool or in dining areas.

The rooms nearest the Historic Pool are Hacienda Deluxe Rooms and Casita Suites.

I hope this helps clarify.

I was at the Hacienda Del Sol in March 2017 and I can say with complete certainty my friends dogs were permitted in the outside dining area during breakfast. the year before I also stayed at the Hacienda Del Sol and ladies from New York had lunch at the outside dining area with their dogs. I'm actually surprised at the comments by management in this thread. I even have pictures of the dogs in the outside dining are on both occasions.
