it is a very safe area. I would give it a 9/10. There is always someone working the desk at our hotel.
We are a very safe area. There is always someone at the front desk of the hotel 24/7-365.
7.5-8 I felt pretty safe!
I agree with the 7.5. I felt secure on the hotel property and even when walking to nearby restaurants across Rt 41, including the Anna Maria Oyster Bar (about 2 blocks). However, it is on a main road and its easy for anyone to pull into the parking lot. The property itself is neat and very well maintained.
I would say 7.5 to 8.Its not too bad of an area but I wouldn't leave my doors unlocked either lol
Yes, I found it to be quite safe, but it's Florida, so I'm always paying attention.
I'd give it a 7/10.
Regarding the motel: There were older couples, families, business people and some workers staying at the hotel. Probably also some transients. As for the area, I didn't walk around much in the immediate neighborhood, because there were no businesses in walking distance that I was interested in. We drove to the closest good restaurant, Anna Maria Oyster Bar. However, you don't have to drive far to a nice, quieter neighborhood for a walk. (I think we ended up staying for about two weeks, because we were between rental properties closer to the ocean.) I / we would definitely stay there again, although it's right on Rte 41.
