Aparthotel Fontanellas Playa Questions & Answers

Freespirit

Going on holiday here at the end of October/beginning of November this year and would like to know if its best to book half board or are there any reasonably priced places to eat nearby, will they still be open at this time of the season and approximately how much would be a meal for 2 adults and 2 children? Many thanks.

You have a lot of options there. Unless you just like to eat at the hotel you have many local establishments available for you to enjoy. My suggestion is to take a walk and enjoy what's around the hotel. We did eat at the dinner buffet and it was very good, but slightly overpriced in my opinion.

We went there with my two children also and would be advisable to take the half-board. We always have brunch because breakfast is until 10:00am. A heavy breakfast will do and have snacks only in the afternoon. We also bought some foods from the grocery that the hotel is connected with and cook in our room. The room has a kitchen so if you want to cook, surely you can.

The restaurant next door to the hotel is very, very good and not expensive at all. They have a big variated menu so for everybody to find what you like. Good portions to. Only deserts are poorly. Do not know if they are open in wintertime. Prices for a hot meal are from 12 to 35 euros.

We had breakfast and a dinner bufé (from 18.30 – 21.00) included.

The food was excellent with a large selection to choose from.

But the accoustics in the dining room was terrible: when people started coming for their meal, it became almost impossible to sit and talk by the table because of the noise from all the guests.

We rented bikes at the hotel and had our lunches elsewhere on the island.

We were there for one week in early April 2018.
