Does this museum keep teens/tweens engaged, or does it skew towards younger kids?
In my opinion, it is geared towards younger kids. I went with three last year - ages 9, 8 & 6. The 6 year old loved it. The 8 year old was mildly interested. The 9 year old, not so much. Most things were below his height (but I will note he acts a little older than his age at certain places.) I didn't see anything that would interested a 12+ year old child.
It is all geared to younger children. The oldest that we saw there were about 8. The activities are for I'd say 2-8.
