DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Raleigh - Brownstone - University Questions & Answers

Cleveland, Ohio

Recent reviews seem to suggest that air conditioning is not working in the rooms, or not cooling enough, while windows/doors to the outside do not open . Has this been resolved?

No, in that your control over temp is EXTREMELY limited and IF the outside temp is a certain degree that will dictate whether you get heat or A.C. (according to the front desk 12/2027) so you're room really can't be actively cooled or heated.

Humm...I really didn't have an issue with the A/C. But then again, when I was there it was about 35 degrees!

It's a great hotel, I am sure if you called them they would give you a true answer!

Enjoy your stay...

When I traveled it was cold and needed the room to be warmer. Thermostat did not work.

The weather was cooler during our stay earlier this month but we never had an issue with the heating and cooling system.
