It varies... Depending on how much you buy. Google gemmountainmt,

It also depends on which mine you go to. There are other places in Montana to look, and their prices are variable also. Just google montana sapphires for ideas.

I bring ALL of my gravel home, I find many I would otherwise have missed by doing a little at a time on my front porch. Good luck and happy hunting!

$25 a bucket. Takes about 45 mins to an hour. They also have multiple bucket discounts and you can even take some to go.

I paid $25 for a bucket at the in-town store - with my family assisting we took about an hour. We also had great assistance from the guy manning the "bucket dispensing" be SURE you pay attention to HOW to wash your gravel ! At the Mine, closed a couple days a week, buckets are $22, this year. I didn't get to go there, but will next trip! Yes multi-bucket discounts available. I got two nice cuttable sapphires out of my bucket, making it worth MUCH more than $25!

You can look online for cost per bucket. I have been to gem mountain many times and have always found sapphires in every bucket although they don't guarantee it. Many were cuttable and had some made into our engagement/wedding rings and plenty more of all colors I haven't had cut yet. Definitely worth the cost and we had a fun time gem hunting.
