We have been told this is a 'devolved' decision only answerable by our elected representatives whenever they come back to the day job.
Sorry so late getting back to you.
The UAS isn't allowed to have open days for political reasons but it's open to the public every Saturday afternoon March to November. Organised guided tours can also be arranged during the week can be booked through the website. If it's your first visit it's really worthwhile getting a guided tour with one of the volunteers.
The guided tours and admission is free but donations are very welcome. Leave your self 2-3 hours.
If you mean their "Open Day", speak to the Stormont politicians about that. Oh, wait, there aren't any.
However, the hangars are always open from early morning to early evening every Saturday. Turn up at Gate 3 and say you're "going to hangar", just drop, dander around the 2 hangars, and don't be afraid to ask someone if you need some questions answered.
Rory, not sure of opening times but, they do have an active Facebook page that probably has the info' you're looking for.
Not too sure. Sorry. Best to phone.
