Can you do vegetarian dishes with no onion/garlic/chives/greenonions?
One in our party is s vegetarian, she had no issues - she frequents the restaurant too.
I am certain that management at The Fusion would be concerned about your request. The best thing is to call ahead and speak to the head manager or chef about your request. Make sure to get the name of the person with whom you spoke.
In addition to this call ahead when you arrive in Frankfort again and make sure they can accommodate you. Give them your name and the time you plan to arrive. Enjoy your meal on their lovely outdoor balcony overlooking the pier or inside where it is always lively.
If I remember correctly, there are a few vegetarian dishes on the menu and a lot of sushi, rolls and sashimi. Being someone with a degree in nutrition and experience in restaurant work, an Asian restaurant that doesn't include onions and garlic somewhere in the food preparation will be difficult to find. If it is for allergy reasons, I would most definitely call ahead. Garlic and onion will be present in broths, sauces and bases of many recipes. If you just show up and tell the server you don't want onion/garlic, chances are either something will get lost in the translation or kitchen workers will disregard the request as it will mean extra, separate preparation of your meal in a very busy kitchen. Good luck!
