I have stayed at the resort on 2 different occasions. I have always had a super time. I read a review that was very negative and noticed that the resort did not respond to it. Perhaps because it was negative is the reason. I would much enjoy seeing what explanation The Star has to those reviews as well as the positive ones. Why is this happening?
Hello George! Thanks for the question. We are so pleased you have a fantastic time at our resort, we love having you here! We like to send private messages to those who might've had a negative experience during their stay and address those specific issues with the guest privately. We appreciate all feedback! Have a good day.
I am a frequent visitor. I have yet to have had a response. If you are new to the Star, then you seem to be treated different than those that are regulars. I have noticed that the buffet has gone down hill since I first experienced it 5 years ago. That is one example. Most of the staff seem as if they are not happy and the regular "players" feel as if they are being cheated. I highly recommend checking out Horseshoe in Southern Indiana. All staff and dealers are friendly and always have a smile!
Seriously! Maybe this person lost at the casino, but I've always found this casino to be pretty good. We stayed at the new hotel and really enjoyed it. The video poker at the bars is pretty good. The clientele is improving. The facility is much cleaner than it used to be. For gambling and amenities, it's the best you're going to find around Cincinnati! . We're gamblers so we go there when we can.
Who knows but at least you get some playing time at this casino and shows are good
I have stayed at Rising Star several times. Never had a bad experience there. I joined the players club, and receive comps on a monthly basis. They are a smaller hotel/casino and they seem to treat everyone like a VIP. They have a nice swimming pool, and Jacuzzi, also an exercise room. I love their buffet! The wait staff is exceptionally friendly, the food is good, they have fresh shrimp for a cocktail, prime rib, steak, all the sides, and the BEST deserts. I would recommend this hotel/casino to everyone. Personally I prefer the lodge as opposed to the casino hotel, the WIFI and cell service is much better.
