Residence Inn Indianapolis Downtown on the Canal Questions & Answers

Marion, Kentucky

Considering a stay at the Residence Inn in Indy for a trip to the Children's Museum. Two questions; (1) Did you use the pool, and how was it? It's a main consideration for our granddaughter. And (2) How easy was travel to and from the children's museum? Thank you. We plan our stay in late July, week of the 23rd, 24th.

We didn't use the pool, just checked it out. But the kids and people using it seemed to be having a good time. We weren't charged for parking, were told it came with the room. And we drove by the children's museum to see where it was for our next trip ad it was fairly easy to get there.

Sorry, I didn't use the pool and looking on line, the Children's Museum seems very interesting, but didn't go.

My wife and I were just there at the end of May. The Children s Museum is just 4 miles away. We found the pool to be a little small, but comfortable. It is inside and there is no diving, but good for laps or just having fun. Be aware that there is an additional parking fee in addition to your room fee which is standard for most downtown Indy hotels. If the weather is nice, be sure to take a walk along the canal or perhaps rent a pedal boat

I remember the pool being very small and I'm not sure where the children's museum is in relation to hotel.

Thank you to all that have answered. It is nice to have real accounts. The pool being small is not a problem, if the temp is nice and it's clean. Our granddaughter is only 6, she just wants water, doesn't matter if it's small. :)
