I've heard the spa (hot tub) is not working and the pool water very cold. We are bringing the children this weekend and this is a big issue with us. Any comments?
Hot Tub was working, you just had to turn the timer to initiate the bubbles... and I didn't think the pool was any colder than normal. If your Children are swimming, you don't want the pool too warm.
Did not have chance to use it. Was disappointed in the hotel. For the price it was disorganized and needs some work. Our door kept not working. Maid took our wine glasses (hotel could care less). Needed to wait and wait for our friends room to be ready. Very disappointed.
I did not have a chance to use their pool or spa. You should call their manager on this.
We stayed in November and did not have time to use the pool or hot tub. I would recommend calling the hotel directly and asking if the hot tub is closed or will be closed on your dates, and if the pool is heated and if the pool has any scheduled closures during your stay. Also, I have had another hotel manager arrange for me to have guest privileges at a nearby hotel when my hotel's pool was closed but it was not noted on their website. We enjoyed this hotel but the room temperatures were difficult to control. Otherwise, it is a nice location and a great breakfast. Good luck.
The pool was closed during my horrible Thanksgiving stay. I'm still trying to get Embassy Suites to credit my account for the $164.49 over charge. I will NEVER stay at that hotel again and suggest the same for your family. There are too many other hotels all around the city.
