Hi.

I suppose all told we spent about 3 hours there but we went to Japanese Gardens which are part of it and also the coffee shop. To be honest the amount of horses that we saw was limited, some stallions out in the paddocks and foaling mares in their boxes which were closed up. I'm sure that as the weather improves there will be more to see.

We could have spent many hours but between the Japanese Gardens and the Stud but we had a time limit. However in about 2/3 hours we were more than pleased with what we managed to see. Also managed the coffee.

The tour was about 45 minutes, but we than wondered looking at other bits and had a meal, the time of year we went there were no foals, would have spent more time there if they where about, guess we were there about a couple to 3 hours. Going back in may this year to see the young Ines.

We were given a guided tour which lasted over an hour and then we had free time to walk around on our own or go tothe litle restaurant to get a snack. It was a chilly afternoon so many of us went for tea or hot chocolate while a few did further exploring. I suggest the guided tour and you will have lots of free time after it as long as you're not part of a bus tour.

Weather would be a major factor for the outside tour and wander so if it's dry

2-2 1/2 hours would be grand. If wet - bring brolly!!!

We spent about 2 1/2 hours as part of a tour group. Personally, I could have stayed all day!

You might need about 2 hours. One for the stud and one for the Japanese garden.

It is very attractive to have coffee and cake in their tearoom afterwards. It takes onother hour or so.

Hi, we spent an afternoon there... probably about two and a half hours. We were happy to go at our own pace, taking time in the tea rooms, enjoying the museum element and generally just pottering about.

you could get a lot done in am hour of you are time constrained.

if you do get to go, have fun!

Hey I was on an Ireland tour that featured a tour around the Irish stud. As an avid equestrian, and veterinary student, I was very disappointed with the tour. Seemed be more about the garden with the occasionally horse in the paddock or stables...

Sorry for the late reply. With the gardens as well you could happily spend half a day. Best time to go is foaling which I think is February time. I can't wait to go back.

A half day is what we spent. There is a lot to the place. The tour is great. You get up close to many top class and famous houses. They have Japanese gardens also.

the tour is 45 minutes long. it is a very comprehensive tour. after the tour is over you can have a look around which I did for around another 20 minutes but could have stayed longer. there is also a fine cafe. I also spent about 30 minutes in the Japanese gardens. Amazing.
