We spent 2 Hours but you can spend much longer, interesting things happen each day like the arrival of mare ready for servicing and the stallions getting excited thinking it's their turn. Then there are the Japanese gardens which are very attractive.

3 to 4 hours would give you plenty of time to see everything and get a nice lunch or snack as well. We loved it.

Hi - we spent about 3 hours there. It was a lovely sunny day (after the showers had passed) so we spent about an hour in the gardens and then wandered over to the stud. We went in May so not too many mares and foals about and probably won't be many if you go now as they will all have been covered (the mares) and then gone back to their owners. There were a few of the stallions out in their paddocks.

The highlight for me was seeing the "old men of the National Hunt" - Moscow Flyer, Kicking King, Rite of Passage, Hurricane Fly, etc. They all came over to say hello and very all very gentle and loving the attention. Tea room nice and light and airy and you can sit outside where the blackbirds, robins and sparrows join you for the crumbs! Very peaceful place. Hope that helps.
