For a group of 17 year old teenagers, would there be enough to do for a day? I'm not finding much on the website apart from the cable car.
Hi there. We have lots of activities for all ages! Right now, we have our Snow Mountain attraction, where you can tube down a 400-foot hill of real snow. Your 17-year-olds would also enjoy the Galactic Tubing, which begins at 5:30 p.m. each night. Check out our website for the best deals!
I went during the Christmas holiday and there was a snow activity where you paid for a time and had two full hours to enjoy the slope however I am not sure what activities they offer the rest of the year. There is a train that goes around the park but this is mainly a national park so walking and hiking will be the highlight.
if you go in warmer weather, there is a boat ride and when you drive around the loop of the park there are places to visit and read some history. there is also a beach for swimming. lots of trails to hike and a wonderful campground for tents and trailers. no cabins though. they have a spectacular laser light show at night that i would not miss. we went to the show in winter and we bundled up, wrapped our feet in saran wrap (ya heard me right) and took hot chocolate. our feet never got cold.
