I just want to go with my kids and sit at the park without doing any of the attractions. Is it feasible or is the park not open to the public?
hi,you will pay a entrance fee,(15.00),and have access to all areas of the park(picknit areas, walking or hikeing trails, walk up mtn,) all included in entrance fee, ohh, and a newly remodeled playground for kids. Enjoy!!!!
Open just have to pay $12.00 parking per day!
The park is open to public with picnic benches and you can just enjoy the view. They have multiple parks inside.
Yes it is open just for what you stated there is a $12.00 parking fee for the day! Beautiful place to walk ride bikes picnic!
Hi! It's a nice place for picnics and walking. As far as paying to park. There are a few places outside the rear of the park that are free. You would have a short walk, approximately a half mile. There are free park and ride lots as well as free parking on Main St. in downtown Stone Mountain. I've done both, prior to purchasing the yearly pass.
Yes, but you will still pay to park.
it seems everyone above has answered the question, you can also hike up the mtn for a great view , but be careful, rocks can be slippery
Everyone pays to enter, think of it as a parking expense. Then enjoy!
you still pay to get in around $15
It's a great park for kids. Lots of walking trails, covered bridge, monuments, you can hike the mountain or just part of it, historical buildings, lots of open spaces for activities, picnic tables, etc. I have been taking my kids since they were babies and they are all grown with kids of their own!
