The walkways are wide and there are plenty of ramps all around the park. Not a lot of stairs. It is a little hilly. There are accessible areas for the laser show as well. As far as the trail up the mountain, I wouldn't consider that an option, but the skylift would probably work for you if you want to go up to the top. I would double check with the park to see if the skylift is wheelchair accessible.

The foot trail to the top is not accessible at all. One could ride easily ride the lift to the top and exit and see the view but the top of the rock is bumpy and uneven. You would be limited as to where you could go once you exited the lift. There is a structure up there but we did not linger in it. Hope this helps.

I was,and still an Advocate in removal of the strip of grass lining the sidewalk. There's enough green space to see. Riding in my wheelchair, walkers do not need to hop onto the road to make room for me. The path is wide enough for my chair, and walkers. Sharing the road is dangerous. I wait to see the continuation of the safety request. Thank you.

After reading other comments regarding access, all I could add to previous contributions would be that however limited you might be with a wheelchair I am sure that you would enjoy the things in the park you were able to get on/into. I remember the boat trip as a relaxing and tranquil experience and all of the other attractions I managed to see when there were equally memorable.

Most areas of the park are wheelchair accessible. The top of the mountain can be accessed via the Skylift cable car.The building at the top of the mountain, which is air conditioned, has snack bar, restrooms, water fountains, viewing platforms as well as the area outside. The Laser Show Lawn/ Train Station and Train, the Lakeside Carrillon, the Childrens Playground, the Commons Restaurant, Evergreen Hotel,Stone Mountain Inn,Memorial Hall, many picnic areas ,and the Crossroads area are all wheelchair accessible. TIP-wheelchairs can easily access the picnic tables at the Covered Bridge parking area. It is the most beautiful spot in the park next to Stone Mountain Lake.TIP- There is a terrace behind Memorial Hall for wheelchairs to view the Laser Show. The best place to park is the Skylift parking lot.

The area with show and rides is rather hilly and pushing a manual wheelchair was exhausting, the balance of the park we saw was even less accessible. Might be easier with an electric chair.

There are several areas that you can use a wheelchair. I do agree with others that it is hilly but I do believe you can park on the top of the mountain to use the sky lift. You could at least get out to see the top, which is something to see. As far as the rides and stuff, we weren't there for that. We did do the train and you would have to check to see if that's accessible. Good luck and if you do go, enjoy it.

Depending on your ability, I'd say it's "somewhat" accessible. The main areas of the park appear to be very accommodating but I believe there are different levels of trails to explore.

The park itself is handicap accessible as far as getting around and such, but the attractions really are not (such as the ropes course and geyser tower...the barn would could be used on the lower level). Depending on the persons limitations, they may be able to board and ride the sky ride to the top of stone mountain- I would check with the park. The laser show which is free with parking pass would be accessible.
