Would pre-teenage kids be entertained enough? Are there any interactive exhibits?
Probably not for the regular exhibits. But they do have programs for kids. Best to check with museum for when you plan to visit.
I took my Granson to kinetic art presentation and he liked it. Really enjoyed it in fact. I guess it would depend on what they were showing.
At the time I visited, they did have an interesting exhibit of an artist who uses toys to create his art and there was an interactive activity. The museum is very small and it makes a nice break from the summer Florida heat.
When I was there they had a class of children there and they enjoyed it a lot . I would check with the museum . I loved it and I am looking forward to going back again .
Well it depends on the exhibits that are going on when you visit. You may want to check what exhibits are there when you go. They do have things to do and classes I believe for young people.
Yes the museum has many interactive activities.
It depends, of course, on the kids. However, I would definitely show them this Museum if you can. Exhibits change regularly and the docents are very helpful.
I agree with others who've responded to the question. Check the exhibition schedule to see if it would be of interest to your young folks.
The LEGO exhibit was there when I visited. Exhibits change, so call or check their website. If nothing else, a great time to introduce children of any age to the arts. Never know what may spark their interests. Enjoy!
