Hi I just called the hotel (noticed you're in the UK and I'm here in FLA) answer is NO not until end of August.... Not sure how that cuts into your plans..... I suggest you contact them and ask for a discount or some sort of compensation due to this impass.... Good luck.. If anything else, feel free to contact me. Enjoy your trip

I personally have no idea...I'd suggest calling the hotel directly for an update on the progress with the renovations.

We were told August when we were there in February Although we did not see much work going on.The only good thing for us was the balcony with fireworks view.

June is very hot we are going back in November when the sales are on and the weather is more bearable.

The plans look great but i agree with others email the hotel regularly and keep an eye on Tripadvisor reviews daily as without a pool and facilities your holiday might be ruined.

I do not believe these renovations are anywhere near completed ... as of last week anyway. I believe they area expected to finish later this year or early next depending on weather, etc. It's Rolling Spring Break in Orlando right now and June will be even busier, so I'd call the hotel to ask. You don't want to be in Orlando in the summer without a pool!

Agreed that the best bet is to call the hotel. They're going through a significant renovation and with that only being a few months away, I don't know how likely it is that everything would be completed by that point, but that's speculation. The hotel should be able to confirm one way or another. Hope you enjoy your trip to the US!

I believe when we were there in November the plan was to be ready for summer season. Your best bet would be to call the hotel directly to confirm. I hope you enjoy your stay. We had a great time there. Only draw back is that the buses aren't always on time when coming back from parks.

I know how a refurbishment can spoil a vacation (and photos). I would call and ask. Most hotels do their refurb a in the winter when it's not tourist season. I'd assume it would be finished when you go, during a high tourist season. If it's not done, the inside rooms are quite nice. The refurbishment shouldn't impact your stay (just your hotel photos), the spa pool can be used, and while we were just there the hotel pool was in use (in June, in Orlando, I'd really imagine the pool would be done). The location is great, the staff is helpful, friendly, ready to accomodate, it's a great hotel for the people who run it despite a refurb so take that into consideration if you choose to move hotels based on that :)

I call the hotel this morning and was told that it will be completed end of summer but can use the spa pool and we have access to the Hilton pool across the road...rates were very reasonable for such an inconvenience.

hi, Thank you for all your feedback and going that step further and contacting the hotel. I am now thinking of changing hotel and travel company I have booked with are allowing us to chance.

I still want to stay in this area as close as possible to Disney Springs area and I need bus shuttle service as my wife needs the flexibility of meeting up with me and the kids later in the morning if she need to rest.

Can anyone recommend anywhere. Staying in Disney would be great but there is 6 of us and looks too costly.

Thanks again for all feedback, very helpful.
